New York Knicks Have a New Look
The New York Knicks have finally made some notable roster adjustments courtesy of free agency, the Chicago Bulls and some key moves that might actually result in winning. The biggest name in this feature lineup is that of Derrick Rose who is a dynamic former league MVP plagued by recent injuries. The trade for Rose sent Robin Lopez, Jose Calderon and Jerian Grant to the Chicago Bulls in exchange for the 2008 number one draft pick, Justin Holiday and a 2017 second round pick.
The other major names acquired by Knicks during free agency include center Joakim Noah, shooting guard Courtney Lee and point guard Brandon Jennings. These players were brought in with hopes to complement the Knick’s top two stars and remaining starters in Carmelo Anthony and Kristaps Porzingis.
Along with new head coach Jeff Hornacek and President Phil Jackson, the new look New York Knicks expect to turn their losing woes around and build on, what appears to be, a solid foundation.
