michael-jordan-flu-game_qdbfcr  Michael Jordan’s epic performance dubbed the “Flu Game,” took place during game five of  the 1997 NBA finals against the Utah Jazz. Jordan suffered from flu-like symptoms, however was able to take control of the game scoring 38 points while barely being able to stand at times.

This Saturday, May 28th, 2016, the red and black retro Jordan XII sneakers launch appropriately nicknamed the “Flu Game.”

The actual sneakers Michael Jordan wore during the game hold the record for the highest paid amount for game-worn shoes at $104,765 bought during a competitive bidding war.
